Acceptable Use Policy

1. Abusing or Disrupting the Service

Users must not engage in activity that degrades, disrupts, or impairs the Service or other users' access. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

• Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, traffic flooding, or other volume-based attacks;
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other customers' accounts, or backend services;
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover source code or system architecture without express permission;
• Automated scraping or mass data extraction that violates usage limits or interferes with normal operations.

Examples: running bots that generate excessive API requests, attempting SQL injection, or using stolen credentials to access other accounts.

2. Spamming and Phishing

Inventorygram prohibits the use of the platform to send unsolicited, deceptive, or fraudulent communications. This includes:

• Mass unsolicited emails or SMS messages sent through integrated messaging tools without recipient consent;
• Phishing attempts or messages designed to trick recipients into revealing credentials or financial information;
• Using Inventorygram accounts to host or distribute spam landing pages or content that facilitates fraud.

Customers must follow applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR ePrivacy, Nigeria's NITDA guidance) and ensure proper opt-in and unsubscribe mechanisms.

3. Deceptive Practices and Impersonating Others

Users may not impersonate other individuals, organizations, or entities or use misleading business identities. Prohibited actions include:

• Creating accounts or content that falsely represent affiliation with another business or person;
• Using logos, branding, or content to mislead customers about the origin of goods or services;
• Conducting deceptive pricing, false claims, or misrepresentation of products and services.

Inventorygram will investigate impersonation reports and may suspend accounts pending verification.

4. Restricted Products and Services

Certain products, services, and content are restricted or prohibited on Inventorygram. Customers must not use the platform to facilitate the sale or distribution of:

• Illegal drugs, regulated substances, or unlicensed pharmaceuticals;
• Weapons, explosives, or regulated firearm components where prohibited;
• Human trafficking, child exploitation materials, or services that facilitate illegal exploitation;
• Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or items that infringe trademarks and copyrights.

If you are unsure whether an item is permitted, contact abuse@inventorygram.com before listing or advertising such items.

5. Harmful or Illegal Content

Content that promotes violence, criminal activity, hate, or other illegal conduct is prohibited. This includes:

• Content that incites violence or organizes criminal wrongdoing;
• Material facilitating illegal activity such as fraud schemes, illicit marketplaces, or bypassing law enforcement;
• Hate speech or content that discriminates against protected classes in a way that promotes harm.

Inventorygram will act promptly on credible reports of illegal content and may report to law enforcement when required by law.

6. Sexually Explicit Content; Misinformation

Sexually explicit content and misinformation are subject to restrictions:

• Sexually explicit material involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities;
• Explicit adult content that is illegal in a customer's jurisdiction may be prohibited;
• Misinformation that causes public harm (health, safety, election interference) is restricted and may be removed when it poses a clear risk.

Customers should avoid publishing unverified claims about health, safety, or public matters on pages or communications that reach broad audiences.

7. Intellectual Property

Users must respect intellectual property rights. Do not upload or use content you do not own or have rights to. If you believe your IP rights have been infringed by content on Inventorygram, follow our Intellectual Property Policy to submit a claim.

We will respond to valid DMCA or local takedown notices and may remove content pending resolution. Repeat infringers may have accounts suspended or terminated.

8. Abusing or Disrupting the Service

This section describes enforcement steps and remediation for abusive behavior:

• Investigation: We will investigate reports of abuse and may request information from customers to aid our review;
• Remedies: Depending on severity, remedies include warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent termination, content removal, and reporting to authorities;
• Appeals: Customers may appeal enforcement actions by contacting support and providing additional information for review;
• Restoration: If an account is reinstated, Inventorygram may require remediation steps such as password resets, security audits, and monitoring.
